JATA Tourism EXPO Japan is one of the largest international tourism events held in Japan. It will be an all-encompassing event showcasing the many facets of travel and the creative and varied lifestyle information and trends that spring from it. Exhibitors from all the 47 prefectures in Japan and over 140 countries and regions in the world will participate in this event.

A local festival held near Ikebukuro Station. The festival includes Taiko Drumming and Samurai play performances as well as Mikoshi parade.

A festival held in Shinagawa, a town formerly known as a post station (Shukuba) sitting on Route Tokaido leading from Tokyo to Kyoto. During the festival, various events are held around Kitashinagawa station and Seiseki-koen areas, such as a parade of people in Edo-period costume (Samurai etc.), Taiko drum performances, and Oiran Douchu (a kind of runway walking of women in gorgeous Kimono dress)

Fire Walking or Hiwatari is a ceremony where prayers walk through over burning small pieces of wood "Gomaki" in the hope of welfare of its people and dreams to come true.
