Asakusa Kappabashi Tanabata Festival | Canceled

This annual event in 2021 is canceled due to Covid-19.

During the festival, the street will be decorated with bamboos with colorful wishing paper, and various folk arts will be performed there on the weekend.

The Arakawa Traditional Handcraft Fair | Canceled

This annual event in 2021 has been canceled due to Covid-19.

The exhibition to promote the traditional handicraft industry in Arakawa-ku, Tokyo. About 70 master craftsmen participate in this exhibition. Hands-on workshops will also put on by some of the artists. Admission Free.

A small exhibition to promote traditional arts and crafts created in Adachi-ku of Tokyo 23 Wards. The exhibits include Hocho cooking knives, Bonsai scissors, Sterling silver flatware, Dolls in kimono, and ebony crafts.

Hozuki(Japanese lantern plant) Market will be held at the temple in Kakurazaka. A traditional Japanese folk dance will also be performed on the streets there.
