A large food event featuring Soba noodles and Japanese sake will take place at Yoyogi Park in central Tokyo. Visitors can enjoy the taste of famous Soba and Sake across Japan.
This papular food event, known as "Soba Fes", is annually held at the event place in Yoyogi Park where nearly 150,000 people visit to enjoy various soba noodles and prized Japanese sake gathered from the regions famous for Sake/Soba production.
At the 4th of the event in this year, three eateries will newly join and serve major soba noodles; Togakushi-soba from Nagano prefecture, Izumo-soba from Shimane prefecture, and Wanko-soba from Iwate prefecture. The soba noodles of Togakushi and Izumo are rich in flavor and texture that Soba lovers should try. Wanko soba is unique as served with tiny bawls in "looks-like-endless-refilling style."
As for Japanese sake or rice wine, breweries across Japan will offer nearly 100 varieties of Japanese sake, including the brand sake awarded at international competitions.
