A calligraphy workshop will take place in Kitasenju, a town in northern Tokyo. The teacher will help you to handwrite Japanese characters with the technique of Shodo, the Japanese calligraphy.

Omiya Bonsai Festival | May 3- 5 2018

A large Bonsai Festival held at Omiya Bonsai village in Omiya. During the festival, masterpieces of Bonsai works are exhibited, and Bonsai plants and pots are also sold there.

Chiba Boso-no-Mura Spring Festival | May 3 - 5 2018

Boso-no-Mura is an open-air museum operated by Chiba prefecture, has a park with exhibits of Japanese buildings backing to the old Japan of 150 years ago. Yorii Hojo Samurai festival | May.13 2018

This is an event to play the scene of a Samurai battle occurred in Yorii area back in 1590. About 500 people in Samurai costume join and perform as warriors.
