Started 19 years ago as a place for those interested in getting a fishing job in Japan, this career support fair offers opportunities to get complete information on the fishing business across Japan.
Fishing Career Support Fair

Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center (Hamamatsucho-kan, Minato City)
You will learn basic knowledge about fisheries in Japan, fishing jobs, types of fishery business and more. They will offer guidance that includes video interviews with senior fishermen to hear their voices.
Candidates looking for a fishing job, including people in their 30s and older, are all welcomed. They will offer information on life in Japan as a fisherman as well as the job lead.
This event fundamentally is for those who are legally entitled to work in Japan and speak Japanese. No interpreters will be there for language help.
